Wow! What has our society come to when we give people like Tareq and Michaele Salahis any credence or attention? Even after being exposed as frauds and unwanted guests at the President’s state dinner last November, this couple are sittin’ in the ”cat bird seat!” It speaks volumes on how shallow and amoral the media has become. Boorish behavior in these times can land you a book deal, interviews on major television programs and a T.V. series, which may be percolating for this couple in the near future. Tell me, what is the difference between the Salahis’ scam and the infamous UFO Balloon Boy’s parents’ hoax? Nothing! Yet, Balloon Boy’s parents went to jail and were placed on probation.  They have been very much forgotten – a sentence they deserved. The Salahis deserve a much harsher punishment because they disrespected the White House and the President.
